The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) polymer material testing system provides comprehensive research solutions, applicable to a wide range of materials including elastomers like rubber, membrane materials, and nanomaterials in the biological field. NMR technology not only provides individual measurement values but also offers a non-destructive, fast, and convenient analysis process, enabling continuous and long-term online monitoring for process improvement and research.
Using the FID sequence decay curve and T2* to study the aging process and evaluate the aging process parameters, etc.
Change in T2 spectra before and after elastomer materials soaking in heavy water
After soaking, both the soft and hard segment content decreased. The hard segment’s relaxation time remained unchanged, while the soft segment’s relaxation time increased, indicating that the rigid portion degraded into oligomers and small molecules, while the soft segment produced smaller molecular weight polymers, oligomers, and small molecules.
