Welcome to the Leaders of the Suzhou New District Organization Department for Their Visit to Newma

On the afternoon of December 1, 2020, Zhang Ying, the Minister of the Organization Department of Suzhou High-Tech Zone, and other leaders visited NewMag for an inspection.

Vice General Manager Liu Lirong and HR Director Zhou Jin of Suzhou NewMag Analysis Instruments Co., Ltd. first introduced the current development status of the company, future direction, and the impact of the pandemic on the business. Liu also mentioned that the company has grown from scratch, with products continuously iterating and expanding into new application areas. NewMag has faced many challenges but has received strong support from the government and leaders, making it a leader in its niche industry, achieving a 30-fold revenue growth. At the same time, NewMag will continue to deeply explore the scientific instrument market, aiming to make our instruments indispensable tools for scientists, assisting them in achieving more research outcomes. With a forward-looking vision, NewMag plans to develop testing service companies and establish innovation education demonstration sites to serve more clients. In the industrial NMR field, we aim to establish enterprise and industry standards, and solidify products and methods. We believe that domestic substitution for imports should not just be a slogan! The leaders from the High-Tech Zone highly appreciated and praised NewMag’s development after listening to Liu’s introduction.

Subsequently, General Manager Liu raised some challenges the company is currently facing in its development process and posed the following questions:

1. To better retain talent, can the government provide supporting facilities such as talent apartments and educational opportunities for the children of talent?

2. We hope the government can introduce more talent support policies to help professionals settle in Suzhou, which will also benefit enterprises in attracting more excellent talent.

3. As a leading company in the global niche market, our market scope is gradually expanding from the research sector to the industrial field. The company also plans to transition from the New Third Board to the Growth Enterprise Market, aiming for an early listing. This will allow us to contribute more to Suzhou and the High-Tech Zone and give back to the government for its support. We also hope the government can provide more assistance and guidance during the company’s listing process in the future.

In response to the issues raised by the company, Minister Zhang of the High-Tech Zone Organization Department, along with relevant leaders from Hushuguan Town, provided the following answers:

1. The Hushuguan government has arranged 50 sets of relocation houses in Hushurenjia as talent apartments, where talent can directly move in with their luggage;

2. The government hopes that enterprises will fully utilize the current talent policies to attract excellent talent;

3. For future listing, the company must have its own motivation and meet certain requirements. The government will provide support in various aspects, and it is hoped that NewMag can successfully list in the next 3-5 years.

Finally, General Manager Liu led the leaders on a tour of the company’s production and R&D facilities, introducing various products such as: the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Seed Sorting System, the NMR Small Animal Body Composition Analyzer for detecting animal fat content, the unique Nuclear Magnetic Resonance High-Temperature and High-Pressure Displacement System for the energy and geotechnical field, and the NMR Fiber Oiling Rate Analyzer in the industrial NMR field. Liu provided detailed explanations of the instruments’ operation principles, processes, and the analysis results. In the national major scientific instrument laboratory, the leaders carefully observed the project’s introduction and wished NewMag continued success in its future development.
