Low-Field Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (LF-NMR) is a non-destructive, environmentally friendly, repeatable, and full-scale rapid testing technology. It enables precise analysis and evaluation of key properties of cement-based materials, including moisture content, pore structure, hydration reactions, permeability, and aging conditions. This provides a scientific basis for optimizing the performance of cementitious materials and improving construction quality, while also offering strong technical support for the successful completion of infrastructure projects.

This article presents the advanced applications of low-field Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) technology in geotechnical engineering, energy resources, and geological exploration. It focuses in particular on the use of NMR techniques to study thermal damage in rocks and the characterization of such damage through NMR grayscale imaging.
